Why contesting on 400 plus seats has been a blessing for Aam Aadmi Party!

Much has been said about why Aam Aadmi Party has shot itself in the foot by contesting on 400 plus seat in the recently concluded General Elections in India. The reasons given were obvious and many – AAP has spread itself too thin, the leadership was unable to focus on so many constituencies, fighting on so many seats led to severe resource crunch for the party etc.

However, apart from the popular perception driven primarily by the media, twisted by intellectuals and believed even by many AAP supporters, the reality is different. True, Aam Aadmi Party made many mistakes, including a few blunders but the decision to fight on 400 plus seats across India is definitely not one of them.
